Tuesday, June 19th

We had a really good day! This morning, the students had Fully Alive with Mme Appell. At 9:45, we finished up some of our major projects that we are working on, such as, ELA Heritage Minutes and Religion. After recess, I introduced a fun little Math project we are going to be completing. It is a budgeting project. The students are going to receive a 5000$ budget and they are going to need to purchase everything they need to build a bedroom. They have certain percentages that need to calculate, taxes, how much money they have left over, etc. They are extremely excited!! At 12:40, they had French with Mme Akinpelu. Finally, to end the day, they had a chance to start researching the items they want to buy for their bedroom!

Homework/news:

- All major projects are due on Thursday, June 21st.

- The grade 6's are leading Play Day all day on Friday!

Here is a picture from our bike day yesterday! I must say, this was one of the best outings that I have been apart of in my teaching career. I had such as blast!! It was great to see how enthusiastic the students were and how well they represented our school!!
