M. McCalmon's Grade 5/6's

Here is an overview of the 6 Traits of Writing that we will be covering throughout the school year.  In each piece of writing, the students must concentrate on these 6 traits to improve their writing.  As we progress through the year, we will learn each individual trait.  I will model how to properly use them and afterwards, the students will begin utilizing them in their own writing.  We will be using the site Kidblog as a writing portofolio to monitor the progress throughout the year.
