Monday, April 23rd

I hope everyone had a great weekend! This morning, we started by reviewing the gospel reading for yesterday. The students answered some reflection questions using the program edpuzzle. We also discussed what the word "holiness" means and how we can live out holiness in our daily lives. At 10:00, we started our ELA radio newscast project based on a suspense story that we read as a group. In groups, the students are creating radio newscasts of the story "A Boy and a Mountain". They need to write a script and present the newscast using Soundtrap. After recess, they had 30 mins of Phys. Ed. and 30 mins of Sciences Humaines. AT 12:40, the band students left for Riffel for full band. Those who stayed back, practiced their Ukulele songs and completed their FlipGrid videos of strum patterns and chords. Finally, to end the day, the students had French with Mme Akinpelu.

- Earth Day activity - Litterless lunch day tomorrow. Pack lunches using reusable containers to minimize the amount of garbage we create.
