We had a great day! This morning, the students started their day with Mme Akinpelu. After recess, we started a mini-project based on First Nations Storytelling. The students had to pick an animal they wanted to write about and turn a story into a legend. They must have a moral to their story or a teaching or some sort. In the end, they are writing a story and will be presenting it in the form of storytelling using a program of their choice. At 12:40, we had a lockdown practice with our School Resource officer. We also finished off unit 5 for Math. Today, we focused on how percentages, fractions and decimal numbers are the same thing just writting differently. We learned how to convert them. At 1:45, the students continued working on their ELA projects from this morning. Finally, to end the day, the students had Science Humaines with Mme Wood.

Homework/News:

- All book club books must be returned ASAP!

- Math - Our unit 5 math test will be Friday, April 13th

- ELA - First Nations Storytelling Project will be due Monday, April 16th

Have a great night!
