I apologize for the lack of posts the past few weeks. I was in the hospital the week prior to the Easter break with an illness; however, I am feeling much better now! We had a great day back. This morning, we heard a heart-felt liturgy over the intercom in regards to the horrific tragedy that struck Humboldt, Sask. over the weekend. We also received the Ukulele's for our upcoming Arts. Ed. unit on Music and started tuning and getting them ready! After recess, they had Phys. Ed. with Mme Barthel and Sciences Humaines with Mme Wood. At 12:40, there was full band for students who participate. The others who stay back began learning some of the basics of stringed instruments. We learned how to hold it, some basic chords and some basic strum patterns. We will also be focusing the different parts of a Ukulele. To end the day, the students had French with Mme Akinpelu.
Homework:
- Please bring Book club books back to school as soon as possible.
Please continue to keep Humboldt in your prayers and they navigate their way through this very difficult time. #BroncosStrong
