Thursday, February 8th

We had a great day! This morning, they started their day with Mme Akinpelu. At 10:00, we got on the bus and headed to the Callie Club for our last day of curling! They had the chance to put their skills to the test and play games against others. They did a great job! After lunch, we continued with our math lesson that we started earlier this week on improper fractions. Today, we focused on how to convert improper fractions and represent them with drawings. They completed the worksheet to test their skills! At 1:45, they had the opportunity to finish up their scripts for the Beatitudes project. Most groups are almost done and next week, we should be able to start creating our Podcasts! Finally, to end the day, the students were in the gym for the Teachers vs. Students improv match!

Homework/News:

- ELA - Section 1 for Book Club due Feb. 11th

- Religion - Scripts will need to be completed by the end of the day tomorrow.

- French - Concour due tomorrow!!!!!

- Movie/PJ Day - Our class will have a PJ Day (if they choose) since we are watching a movie in the gym for French Immersion week!
