Monday, February 5th

We had a great start to our week! This morning, the students started their script writing for the Beatitudes Projects. We are now coming closer to the recording sessions and completing our podcasts! At 10:00, we reviewed our Unit 4 Math test together and started our new unit on Fractions. Today, we focused on improper fractions and how to cover them. After recess, they had Fully Alive with Mme Appell and continued working on their Religion scripts. At 12:40, they had French with Mme Akinpelu. Finally, to end the day, we spent 10 minutes reading section 1 for our Book Club books and they began picking things out using the coding chart. At 3:05, they continued working on their Career Path projects for Careers! They have a series of questions to answer based on a career that interests them.

Homework/News:

- Carnavale tomorrow! For French immersion week, the students will be participating in French culture related activities. Please bring warm clothing incase the students will be going outside!

- Book and Bagels - For those who signed up, it is at 8:15am on Wednesday.

- Religion - Scripts must be types by Friday, Feb. 9th
