We had a really good day! This morning, the students finished up their research for their Beatitudes Project. Soon, we will begin the script writing for their podcasts! At 10:00, we did some group revision for the first portion of the Math Diagnostic Test. After recess, they had 30 mins of Phys. Ed. with Mme Barthel and 30 mins of Social with Mme Wood. At 12:40, the band students left to Riffel for Full Band. Those who stay back are learning about the different elements of visual art. Today, we focused on colour and lines. We looked at the colour wheel and the different between primary, secondary and tertiary colours. They worked on a mini-project where create Piet Mondrian works of art using vertical/horizontal lines and only the colours red, blue and yellow. They are doing a great job! Finally, to end the day, they had French with Mme Akinpelu.

Homework/News:

- French - Conjugaison tomorrow! Dictee on Feb. 7th

- Math - First portion of our diagnostic test tomorrow! Please use the PowerPoint to study!

- Religion - Research for their Beatitudes Project will be due on Friday.

- Griffon Spirit Wear - if your son/daughter had Griffon spirit wear, please bring/wear it tomorrow for a little video shoot!

- Curling tomorrow!
