Tuesday, January 30th

We had a great day! This morning, we create bookmarks for our book club books! They are going to use these bookmarks to help reflect while reading their books. At 10:00, we went to the library for book exchange. After recess, the students had 30 mins of Phys. Ed. and 30 mins of Arts. Ed. They continued working the M. McCalmon Pop Art Challenge! At 12:40, the students continued their revision from yesterday for the upcoming diagnostic test. We are completing all the questions related to the first portion of the diagnostic test. At 1:40, we started Careers. Today's focus was on Career Path. We discussed the differences between careers and jobs and also what a career path is. Next time, they will be starting a project based on their potential Career Path. Finally, to end the day, the students finished up their pros and cons of renewable energy sources that produce electricity.

Homework/News:

- French - Concour due Feb. 12th

- Math - First portion of our diagnostic test will be Thursday, Feb 1st

- Religion - Research for their beatitudes project must be complete by Friday, Feb, 2nd
