Monday, January 22nd

I hope everyone had a relaxing weekend! This morning, the students had time to work on their Social Justice Raps. Most groups have now started recording and practicing their raps! They have come up with some really good work! At 10:00, we went to the library for book exchange. After recess, they had 30 mins of Phys. Ed. with Mme Barthel, when they returned, they continued working on their Arts. Ed. Pop Art. I wanted to give the band students a little more time to get this project done! At 12:40, we had Math. The students continued their revision for our upcoming test on angles. We will continue to revise during the week. At 1:40, we started a mini-project for Health on foods that are promoted that could be considered bad for us. They are creating Adobe Spark Page's. They need to choose a product, find a commerical and explain why this product may be considered bad for us. Finally, to end the day, we had Science. Today's focus was on how we use renewable resources to create electricity.

Homework/News:

- French - Comics are due Jan. 29th

- Math - Test on unit 4 will be Thurs. Jan. 25th
