Thursday, January 18th

We had an awesome day! This morning, the students started their day with Mme Akineplu. At 10:00, we completed our last Math lesson for unit 4. Today, we learned about angles of a quadrilateral and how to find missing angles of different types of quadrilaterals. After recess, they had Phys. Ed. with Mme Barthel. At 12:40, we started by reading a chapter from our read aloud Espace from Mr. Lemoncello's Library. Once finished, the students had the opportunity to work on Genius Hour. Today, my focus was to meet with every students one-on-one to see how they are doing, if they are on the right track and if they need any guidance. I had some good conversations; however, it seemed like everyone was doing exactly what they needed to do! I am excited to see the final products already! To end the day, the students had their last chance to work on their electricity timelines for Science.
