Thursday, January 11th

We had a really great day! This morning, the students started their day with Mme Akinpelu. At 10:00, they had the chance to finish up the math worksheet on lesson 3, how to measure angles. After recess, they had Phys. Ed. with Mme Barthel. At 12:40, we started our first activity for our upcoming bookclub. The students had a chance to introduce themselves via FligGrid to their group members. Once finished, we kept rolling with our Genius Hour. They finished their Elevator Pitches and began listing the "mini-questions" that will help them answer the essential question. Finally, to end the day, we started our Science unit on electricity. Today, we explored all the different things we use in our daily lives and need electricity. We also began reading and discussing the history of electricity and what it would have been like without it.

- French - Dictee on Jan. 16th and Le Canada edpuzzle on Jan. 17th

- Genius Hour - Elevator Pitches are due tomorrow.
