This morning, the students started their day with Mme Akinpelu. After recess, we continued our mini-writing project - Autobiography of an Object. Students need to choose an object that is related to a famous person. Now, they must give that object a voice and write a mini-autobiography that explains certain aspects of its "Life". After recess, we continued our Math lesson based on where M. Higiro left off. Today, we focused on multiplying numbers smaller than one by whole numbers. We focused on the strategy of taking out the decimal, multiplying and using estimation to place the decimal back in the number. At 1:40, the students had Religion with M. Higiro, they continued working on their saint projects from earlier this week. Finally, to end the day, the students had Mme. Wood for Social:

Homework/News:

- ELA - Rough draft of their Autobiography of an Object due by the end of the day tomorrow.

- Math - first quiz for Unit 3 on Monday, Dec. 11th

- French - Conjugaison quiz on Tuesday, Dec. 12th

- Science - Projects are due tomorrow

- 5$ for Adopt a Family due Friday.
