Tuesday, December 5th

It is really nice to be back with the students! This morning, the students started their day with M. Higiro. He taught a Religion lesson based on saints and martyrs. The students began working on a mini-research project based on saints because they are great examples of witnesses of our faith. At 9:45, we had ELA. Today, we started a new project based on what M. Higiro has been teaching them on biographies. They are beginning a writing activity based on an object. They have to pick someone famous and write as if they were an object they used (ex. Leonardo DiVinci’s paintbrush). After recess, the students had 30 mins of Phys. Ed. with Mme Barthel and 30 mins of Social with Mme Wood. At 12:40, the students had Arts. Ed. with M. Higiro. Today, they worked on their imaginary landscapes and put them up on FreshGrade. If they finished, they continued with their research project on vertebrate animals. Finally, to end the day, the students had French with Mme Akinpelu.

• ELA – Rough draft of their Autobiographies of an Object is due Thurs, Dec. 7th

• 5$ for Adopt a Family due Friday, Dec. 8th

• Wacky Toque Day on Friday, Dec. 8th
