Wednesday, November 15th

We had a great day! This morning, the students started their day with Mme Akinpelu. At 10:00, they continued their lesson that they started yesterday with M. Higiro on social justice issues and oppression for Religion. After recess, they had Phys. Ed. with Mme Barthel. At 12:40, they had ELA with M. Higiro. During this time, they read a diary of a young girl. He showed students had to use certain reading strategies to help them understand what they are reading. He also had students pick out the different characteristics of a biography based on the reading. Once finished, they began working on their own auto-biographies. Finally, to end the day, they finished up their Science presentations. Once they were finished, they worked on their Math revision for their upcoming test.
