Wednesday, November 1st

I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween! I know my little guy was pretty "excited" with all the sugar from yesterday! This morning, the students had time to finish up their comics based on a particular scene from their novel using the program StoryBoardThat.com. At 10:00, they had the chance to go to the library for book exchange. After recess, they had 30 mins of Fully Alive with Mme Appell, followed by a 30 minute Art lesson by M. Higiro. At 12:40, they had a Math lesson from M. Higiro which focused on factors. They are learning how to find factors of different numbers and also, which of those factors or composite and prime numbers. Just before the last recess, M. Higiro taught another lesson for Health. Today, they discussed stressful situations and possible personality traits and help them deal with that specific stress. Finally, to end the day, they had Science. They continued working on their animal projects that we began at the beginning of the week.

Homework/News:

- ELA - "I Wonder" Project is due this Friday on FreshGrade. Also, all book club books must be returned.

- ELA - Final assignment due Friday!

- Picture retake day is on Friday!
