Monday, October 30th

We had a great start to our week! This morning, the students started their day with Mme Akinpelu. At 10:00, M. Higiro taught his first Math lesson on factors. The students explored factors by using different strategies. After recess, they had Phys. Ed. with Mme Barthel. At 12:40, we had ELA. Today, we started our last assignment for Book Club. Using the program StoryBoardThat, the students are creating comics of their favourite scene in their novel. They must include dialogue and it must be accurate and possible. They had fun exploring this site! To end the day, the students had Science with M. Higiro where they started a new project on a specific type of animal.
