Monday, October 16th

I hope everyone had a great weekend! This morning, the students started their day with Mme Akinpelu. At 10:00, we started our third lesson for Math on finding multiples of different numbers. We started with a couple strategies and we will be finishing with the other strategies tomorrow. After the recess, they had Phys. Ed. with Mme Barthel. At 12:40, we had our quick off assembly for Education Week. The student leadership team discussed different things about our Expectation Matrix. When we returned, we started our third assignment for our Book Club. The students created a meme for a character or a moment in their book! They posted their meme on Kidblog and will now comment on a group members post. To end the day, M. Higiro taught a Science lesson on how to classify different types of trees. The students went outside to either collect or take pictures of leaves and tried to classify them by conifers or broad-leaved.

- Fully Alive - Puzzles due tomorrow.

- Arts. Ed. - Name Sculptures are due for those in band on Wednesday, Oct. 18th
