We had an awesome day! This morning, the students had a great presentations by Frisbee Rob (Rob McLeod). He has world records for Frisbee throwing and talked to the students about the importance of playing outside, trying new things and be willing to be different. The message was great! Once presentation was finished, they had a little workshop with Rob to show them how to throw a Frisbee, how to aim at a target and how to throw a long way! Just before lunch, we had time to work on our Art projects (Name Sculpture). At 12:40, M. Higiro taught a Health lesson on how to work in cooperative groups. The students had to brainstorm strategies of working with others and had them complete a little auto-evaluation on different scenarios. At 1:30, the students finished up their Ecosystem projects for Science. Finally, to end our day, we may a desk change and finished up our Math lesson from yesterday. The students learned different ways to represent numbers and complete a little worksheet.
