Friday, September 29th

Another week gone and we are already heading into the month of October! This morning, the students worked on their Math revision that we started yesterday and also a little package with revision questions related to Lesson 6, 7, and 8. At 10:00, they went to the library for the first time! It went well! They took out one French and one English novel. After recess, the students had 30 mins of Phys. Ed. with Mme Barthel. Once they returned for the gym, they worked on their Name Sculptures. At 12:40, we had FlipGrid Friday for ELA! The students watched two videos, one on how authors create fictional worlds and one on what makes a hero. After they watched the two videos, they had to answer 3 questions which connected the videos to their books. They had to answer the three questions in the form of a FlipGrid video post. At 1:40, they completed another lesson with M. Higiro for Health. Today, they focused on responsible actions at home, at school and in the community. Finally, to end the day, M. Higiro continued his lesson on ecosystems and living and non-living things.

- ELA - Blog Post #1 and FlipGrid #1 both due Monday.

- French - Dictee on Monday and animal project due on Oct. 13th

- Orange Shirt Day Liturgy on Monday.

- Social - Sac Culturel presentations on Oct. 2nd, 3rd, 12th and 13th
