Monday, September 25th

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! This morning, we started with our Digital Samaritan lesson on identifying if things on the internet and real or a hoax. The students learned how to research of information is accurate and creditable. At 9:45, we continued with our Book Club. Today, the students completed their first assignment where they created a "fake" facebook profile page for their main character. They had to figure out their personality traits and others information that would better help them understand their main character. After recess, they had 30 mins of Phys. Ed. and 30 mins of Social. After lunch, we started a new art project based on the students first name. We discussed how one of the first things that identify us as our own person is our first names. Now, they are creating name sculptures. To end the day, the students had French with Mme Akinpelu!
