Wednesday, September 20th

We had another great day! This morning, the students started their day with Mme Akinpelu. At 10:00, we continued with our Math unit on patterns and equations. Today, we focused on equals. We figured out how one equation can be equal to another equation so that they balance out. After recess, they had Phys. Ed. with Mme Barthel. At 12:40, we continued with our ELA unit. The started by reading some of their first section of their book. Once finished, we started a mini-assignment on another trait of writing - Organization. The students are learning to create a lead to try and hook readers. They are now writing a litte story of a funny or scary encounter with an animal. Finally, to end our day, the students finished up their Art posters and continued their writing assignment.

- ELA - finish reading section 1 of your book for Monday, Sept 25th

- ELA - Final draft of writing assignment due Monday, Sept. 25th

- Arts Ed. - Identity posters are due tomorrow.
