It was a gloomy day; however, we still got work done! This morning, the students started the day with Mme Akinpelu for French. After recess, we started our Book Club! We went over the week by week expectations of what the students will need to do. I divided the students into groups and gave them their books. They will need to read section one of their books which was already determined. Later this week, they will need to complete their first assignment. At 12:40, M. Higiro completed another lesson in Science on how to classify living and non-living things. Also, they learned some of the scientific vocabulary associated with this lesson. At 1:45, they continued working on their identity posters that are due Thursday. Finally, to end our day, we had Math. We continued with our lessons on patterns. Today, the students learned how to show a pattern in a graph using table values.
Homework:
- Arts Ed. - Identity Posters
- ELA - read section 1 of their book by Monday, Sept. 25th
Have a great night!
