Friday, September 15th

Well, that was officially the first full week! This morning, we completed our introduction to our mini book club. I introduced Kidblog (the program we will be using) and how to use it. The students had the chance to read 4 different book reviews to and choose their top two. Next class, we will be starting some of the activities related to the book. At 10:00, they finished up their discussion questions for Religion on cyberbullying and digital samaritans. After recess, they had Phys. Ed with Mme Barthel for 30 mins and when they returned, they worked on their Arts. Ed. posters on identity. At 12:40, we wrote our first Math Quiz on the first few lessons of our unit. I will be correcting these as soon as possible. At 1:40, the students had some time to finish up their ELA writing assignments, discussion board and their identity posters. Finally, M. Higiro continued his lesson in Science on classifying objects which will eventually lead into classifying living things.
